Pads for Dignity program
In our ongoing commitment to menstrual health and dignity, we successfully provided over 400 girls with essential sanitary pads between late 2022 and early 2023, investing $1,200 in their well-being.
This initiative is crucial in combating period poverty, a significant barrier that prevents many girls from attending school and participating fully in their education.
Access to menstrual products is not merely a convenience but a matter of human dignity. By ensuring that girls have the necessary supplies, we empower them to manage their periods with confidence and comfort, free from stigma and shame.
Each pad distributed represents a step toward fostering an environment where every girl can thrive academically and socially. Our efforts align with global movements advocating for menstrual equity, emphasizing that no girl should miss school due to lack of access to sanitary products. Together, we can continue to champion the cause of menstrual health and dignity for all.
